Bucket Elevator in Biomass Pellet Plant

Bucket elevator

The bucket elevator is a machine, which can haul flowable powdery, bulk or granulate materials vertically or in a large angle of inclination. It consists of buckets, rubber belt, enclosure, electric motor, non-return braking devices, etc. The ABC Machinery Bucket Elevator has the advantages of simple but delicate design, relatively small volume, and easy to be transported.

Working principles:

The buckets on the rubber belt driven by an electric motor can take the materials from the stock bin down at the bottom to the top of the bucket elevator by chains or belt, and then send the materials into the specified loading chute. In the pellets production line, when the materials are needed to be transported into the higher silo for storage or transit, the bucket elevator is used to make it possible.

Features of the bucket elevator:

1. The driving power needed by the bucket elevator is small, and the design of the induction unloading, flow-type feed, and intensive layout of large capacity hoppers, prevents the materials from excavating and returning during hoisting; therefore the reactive power is lowered.
2. It can be used to hoist a wide range of materials, not only the normal powdery and granulate materials, but also the nubby materials, with the characteristics of good sealing and low environment pollution.
3. The advanced design schemes and processing technology ensures the reliable working performance of the bucket elevator, with 20,000 no breaking down working hour and higher and stable hoisting.
4. Long service life is guaranteed by the design of flow-type feed, preventing materials from excavating, keeping the materials from nobbing and colliding, reducing the attrition to the bucket elevator.
